So. It's here. It's February and we are celebrating Black History Month! But, before we get into that, let me give you a catch up on how my reading went in January.
If you subscribe to my newsletter (wait...you don't? Um, how awkward. You can sign up underneath the Book Fidelity logo to the right of this page), you will remember that I was going to partake in a week-long romance readathon...and I did! I did not finish all my books, but I did get 3 read and I kept up with the prompts each day. You can check these posts on my Instagram @bookfidelity.
This is what my TBR was:
This is what my bingo board ended up looking like with the books I actually read. I technically made bingo - but next time, I'm aiming for no double ups.
I shared my TBR on my IG and in my newsletter, but let me share with you where I'm at (template was NOT created by me):
I finished Stephanie London's Kissing Lessons the night before I started the readathon and wow. First of all, I love Stephanie's books. There is something heartbreaking and hilarious about her characters. Her characters in Kissing Lessons are especially heartbreaking and beautiful. Highly recommend.
I finished Flow, the first in the Grip series, last night and wow! So good...such a cliffhanger and I need to read the next book ASAP.
The Boyfriend Project is next on my list and...maybe I'll sneak in that next book in the Grip series....
And here is where I'm at so far this year:
Getting involved in readathons is really helping my motivation with reading this year so far. Let's see how I keep it up!
What are you reading? Do you enjoy readathons? Let me know!
